Jack Hollick is a visual artist from the West Midlands, currently based in York. Underlying influences of masculinity, and narrative bleed together through the unreal to form the foundation of his practice's exploration. Within his work, multiple mediums are utilised creating a wide visual net of projects. In an ever growing digital world, the need for human made objects become ever important.  Given this Hollick's preferred way of working lies in the use of traditional pencil and ink techniques. 

Currently Hollick's work is focused on the development of a short comic named PYGMACHIA. Using the art of boxing as a narrative vessel, he explores the relationship modern masculinity has with not only in expression, and the violence it projects not only externally onto others but also internally onto the self.
